     Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Glavine wore this New York Mets home jersey in 2003, during his first season in the Big Apple. Glavine joined the Mets after sixteen seasons and 242 victories with the Atlanta Braves. The ten-time All-Star went 9-14 in his first season in New York as the Mets stumbled to a 66-95 record.

     This white pinstriped button down home jersey was worn by Glavine during the 2003 season. “Mets” is sewn across the chest in blue-on-orange tackle twill. Glavine’s number “47” is sewn on the front and back in blue-on-orange tackle twill. “GLAVINE” is sewn across the back shoulders in blue-on-orange tackle twill below a blue and orange MLB logo. A circular Mets logo is sewn on the left sleeve above a blue Rawlings logo. A Rawlings Authentic Collection tag is with “2003 Gamer” written on it in black marker is sewn inside the jersey. Glavine signed the “7” digit on the back in silver marker. This item comes with a LOA from the family of Tom Glavine for the game use and a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (B56687) for his signature.
