Adam LaRoche and Julio Franco had two RBI apiece for the Braves, while Andruw Jones and Rafael Furcal chipped in with a pair of solo homers. Cox led the Braves to a 96-66 record in 2004, clinching an unprecedented 13th straight National League East title for the Braves.
