Ichiro Suzuki wore this Seattle Mariners road jersey during the 2004 MLB season. Ichiro had an incredible year, batting .372 with 262 hits. These 262 hits broke George Sisler’s all-time record for hits in a single season, when he gathered 257 hits in 1920 for the St. Louis Browns. Ichiro, an All-Star and Gold Glove Award winner in 2004, also finished the season with eight home runs, 60 RBI, 36 stolen bases, and a league-leading 19 intentional walks.

This gray road jersey features “SEATTLE” sewn across the front in navy, teal, and white tackle twill. “ICHIRO” is sewn across the back shoulders on a matching gray nameplate in navy and teal tackle twill. Ichiro’s number “51” is sewn on the back in navy and teal tackle twill. A circular Mariners logo is sewn on the left sleeve above a navy Russell Athletic logo. A navy and teal MLB logo is sewn on the back outside collar. Navy piping runs parallel to the buttons on the chest and around the collar. A Russell Athletic tag with a size “48” flag and additional “2004” tag are sewn on the front left tail. Ichiro signed the “5” digit in silver marker, adding the inscription “04 GU”. This item comes with a LOA from Ichiro himself.
