Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez, a 14-time All-Star who picked up 13 Gold Glove and seven Silver Slugger awards during a 21-year career, made a splash in his debut season with the Detroit Tigers in 2004. Rodriguez hit a stellar .334 with 19 home runs and 86 RBI that year, which is when he sported this white button-down Tigers home jersey. Rodriguez signed the front of the jersey below the stitched “D” logo on the left chest in bold, blue sharpie and again on the reverse side to the left of his number “7.” The back of the jersey boasts “RODRIGUEZ” across the top in navy blue tackle twill. The fraying Detroit “D” logo on the chest and Rodriguez’s number “7” on the back also appear in navy blue tackle twill. A “Russell Athletic” manufacturer’s tag is featured on the front tail of the jersey along with three additional identification tags reading “50” for size, “+2” EXTRA LENGTH” for size modifications and “2004-7-1” to indicate the jersey’s year, player number and set.
