Former NBA star Rick Fox enjoyed a stellar 13-season career playing for the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers. The Canadian-born forward out of the University of North Carolina, won three titles with the Lakers from 2000-2002 and retired following the 2004 season.

This offered road purple Lakers uniform (jersey and shorts) was worn during the the 2004 NBA Finals when Los Angeles took on the upstart Detroit Pistons. This was Fox’s last appearance with the Lakers and in the NBA as he retired following the 2004 Finals. The Nike size 52 jersey with a “LENGTH+4” features “LAKERS” sewn on the front in yellow and white tackle twill, with his number “17” sewn on below in white and yellow tackle twill. The Larry O’Brien trophy patch is sewn on above the “L” and the NBA logo is embroidered on the upper left chest. The Nike size 52 tag with the “LENGTH+4” flag and additional Lakers’ logo and NBA Authentics tags are sewn on the bottom front left tail. The back of the jersey has “FOX” sewn on in yellow and white tackle twill with “17” sewn on below in white and yellow tackle twill. The sides each have a thick yellow stripe bordered in white and yellow.

The shorts are a matching purple and also made by Nike. These size 48 shorts have a thick yellow stripe on the sides that are bordered in white. The NBA logo is embroidered on the upper left thigh. The inside waist has the Nike size 52 tag with two flags – a wash tag and a Nike “2003-04” flag. This uniform set derives from the personal collection of Rick Fox and a signed LOA from Fox will accompany these items.
