For the second straight season, the Sacramento River Cats were the champions of the Pacific Coast League. Sacramento was the top team in the Pacific Conference’s South Division with a 79-65 and featured many future Major Leaguers, including Ramon Castro, Nelson Cruz and Nick Swisher, who batted .269 with 29 home runs and 103 walks. The River Cats were the AAA affiliate of the Oakland Athletics.

This offered championship ring was manufactured by Jostens and presented to a non-player named “SICK”. The top of the ring has “RC” filled with dazzling stones that are set in a black onyx. “PACIFIC COAST LEAGUE CHAMPIONS” surrounds the outside. One shank has “SICK” in raised relief with “2004” with the River Cats logo. The opposite shank has “BACK to BACK 2003 2004” with “River Cats” and the Oakland A’s logo. “YLTM” is engraved on the inside band of this size 14 ½ ring that weighs approximately 28.1 grams. This ring comes with a custom clear case and the owner’s original purchase LOA.
