2004 was Sammy Sosa’s last summer in Wrigley. Over the previous decade with the Chicago Cubs, Sosa had belted 479 homers, a record that still stands. Used during that final Chicago season, Sammy’s Louisville Slugger R161 model bat shows outstanding use with a handle crack. There are many ball marks on the barrel and Sosa’s number “21” is located on the top barrel in faded silver marker. The handle has been scored and the knob taped to enhance the grip. The Cubs star has signed the barrel in silver marker adding “GAME USED 2004” and a Sammy Sosa 21 sticker affixed. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16104) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9. Additionally, there is a LOA from JSA for the signature (Z67462).
