Future Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant wore this Sunday Los Angeles Lakers home jersey during the 2005-06 NBA season. Kobe was a force to be reckoned with in ’05-’06, leading the NBA in scoring at 35.4 points per game. He also added 5.3 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game for a Lakers team that qualified for the first round of the NBA playoffs, where they lost a heartbreaking seven game series to Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns. The Lower Merion High School product played all 20 of his NBA seasons in Los Angeles, winning five rings and the 2007-08 NBA MVP award.

This jersey is white, with “LAKERS” sewn on the chest in purple and yellow tackle twill. Bryant’s number “8” is sewn on the front and back in purple and yellow tackle twill. “BRYANT” is sewn across the back shoulders in similarly colored tackle twill. A NBA logo is sewn on the left side of the chest. This jersey has purple and yellow accents. A Reebok tag with attached size “58”, “2005-2006”, and “Length +4” flags is sewn on the front left tail of the jersey. Also included in this lot are a pair of shorts Bryant wore during the same season. The shorts are white, with yellow and purple accents. A Lakers logo is sewn on the bottom of the right leg, while an NBA logo is sewn on at the top of the left. A Reebok tag with an attached size “46” flag is sewn in the back waistband. “8” is written on this tag in black marker. The jersey and shorts come with a LOA from DC Sports.
