Francisco Liriano of the Minnesota Twins wore this glove in his rookie era of 2005-06. Liriano made six appearances with the Twins in 2005, but excelled in his true rookie campaign of 2006. The Dominican hurler made 16 starts for the Twins in 2006, finishing the year with a 12-3 record, one save and a miniscule 2.16 ERA. Liriano was named to the American League All-Star team and finished third in the American League Rookie of the Year race. This Rawlings PRO20009SB glove is black, with a red Rawlings tag sewn on the wrist. A second Rawlings logo is located on the thumb. “Francisco Liriano” is embroidered on the thumb slot in red. The web is in the two-piece closed style. Liriano has signed the glove in silver marker, inscribing “Game Used Rookie Season 2005-2006 My Baby” in addition to his signature. Also included in this lot is a 16 x 20-inch photograph of Liriano. He has signed this photograph in blue marker, writing “To Jay Enjoy The Glove” and “2006 All Star” as an inscription. Both items come with a COA from JSA (CC16977, CC16978) and the glove comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1G00483) for the game use.
