New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning made his first appearance in San Diego on September 25th, 2005 since forcing a 2004 draft-day trade between the two clubs where Manning ended up with the Giants and Philip Rivers with the Chargers. The Chargers got the better of Manning and the Giants during the September 25th game, but Manning would go on to win two Super Bowl titles and two Super Bowl MVP Awards (one of only five quarterbacks to accomplish that feat).

Manning wore these gray New York Giants pants against the Chargers on September 25th, 2005. These gray pants display heavy game use with dirt stains on the front, including heavier stains on the right thigh and knee and smaller staining on the left knee. There are blue, red and gray stripes down each side and the Reebok logo patch is sewn on the upper right thigh, while the NFL EQUIPMENT patch is sewn on the upper left thigh. The inside waist band has the Reebok/NFL tag and an “05” patch, while Manning’s number “10” is handwritten in black marker. These pants have been photo matched by The MeiGray Group and have provided a LOA (148589) for the game use.
