Injuries kept Hall of Famer Frank Thomas to just 34 games in 2005, but his mere presence on the club helped inspire the team to win their first World Series since 1917. Thomas’ power was still a force to be reckoned with as he hit 26 home runs in less than three dozen games, the mark of true Hall of Fame talent. This Hoosier HB O model bat is un-cracked, shows excellent use and was used by  The Big Hurt during the 2005 championship season. Some checking from repeated ball contact is present on the back barrel. Several ball marks with stitch impressions with blue ink transfers and white leather ball marks are found on the barrel. A light coat of pine tar is found on the upper handle and the bat’s length is stamped into the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (I02881), who have graded this bat a near-perfect GU 9 for the game use.
