Seattle Mariners outfielder Ichiro Suzuki wore this jersey during the 2005 MLB season, his fifth year in the Major Leagues. The contact hitting Ichiro hit a career-high 15 home runs in 2005, adding 68 RBI, 33 stolen bases, and a .303 batting average as his Mariners struggled to a 69-93 record. The 2001 American League MVP was one of the few bright spots, earning his fifth All-Star berth and a Gold Glove Award.
This white size 44 Mariners button-down home jersey features “MARINERS” sewn across the front in navy blue, teal, and silver tackle twill. “ICHIRO” is sewn across the back shoulders in navy and teal tackle twill over a white nameplate. Ichiro’s number “51” is sewn on the back in navy and teal tackle twill. A teal and navy MLB logo is sewn on the back outside collar. A circular Mariners logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve above a black and white Majestic logo. A Majestic Authentic Collection tag with a size “44” flag attached is sewn on the front left tail of the jersey. Navy piping runs down the front of the jersey and around the collar. This jersey shows moderate signs of game use, and comes with a LOA from Ichiro himself.
