New England Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork wore this silver Patriots alternate jersey on October 2nd, 2005 against the San Diego Chargers at Gillette Stadium. Wilfork recorded five of his 54 tackles on the 2005 season in this game, a 41-13 win for the visitors. The Patriots won the AFC East Division in 2005 to claim their third straight division title. Wilfork, a five-time Pro Bowler, started all 16 games in defensive coordinator Eric Mangini’s 3-4 defensive scheme.
This offered Patriots alternate jersey is silver, with Wilfork’s number “72” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in navy, white, and red tackle twill. “WILFORK” is sewn across the back shoulders in navy tackle twill over a matching silver nameplate. Patriots logos and Reebok logos are sewn on both sleeves. Velcro swatches are affixed to the front and back of the jersey, and team repairs are present on the sleeves. This jersey comes with a LOA from PMG photo matching the jersey to the October 2nd game, a LOA from RGU, and a COA from the Patriots ProShop.
