Former St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols led the Cardinals to the 2006 World Series with his .331 average along with 49 homers and 137 RBIs.

This white button-down St. Louis Cardinals home jersey was game used by Pujols during the 2006 Major League Season. Pujols set career highs in 2006 with 49 home runs and 137 RBI while placing 2nd in National League MVP voting that season and leading the Cardinals to the World Series title. This jersey features “Cardinals” sewn on across the chest in red chenille with the traditional two birds perched on a bat and Pujols’ number “5” sewn on in red and navy blue tackle twill. The back of the jersey has “PUJOLS” and his number “5” sewn on in red and navy blue tackle twill. A 2006 New Busch Stadium Inaugural Season patch adorns the left sleeve and the Majestic manufacturer’s tag is found on the front left tail with a “50” flag denoting the size. The jersey shows moderate wear and the cut tail is common for Pujols’ gamers.

Also included in this lot is a matching pair of game used pants that were worn by Pujols during the 2006 season. These Majestic pants show moderate use and have a team strip tag sewn on the inner waist lining that reads “Pujols 5 36-44 34 C 06”. These all-white pants have straps on each leg end and there are two back pockets. Both the jersey and pants come with a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
