Former St. Louis Cardinals slugger Albert Pujols celebrated the inaugural opening day of the new Bush Stadium in style, hitting a home run to center field off of Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Tomo Ohka during the bottom of the third inning during the Cardinals 6-4 victory over the Brewers on April 10th, 2006 at the new Bush Stadium in St. Louis. Presented here is a game used Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball signed and inscribed by Albert Pujols. The presented Rawlings baseball features the “INAUGURAL GAME BUSH STADIUM APRIL 10, 2006” stamp on the west panel of the ball. Pujols signed and inscribed “HOME OPENER 4/10/06” with a blue ballpoint pen below the “INAUGURAL GAME BUSH STADIUM APRIL 10th, 2006” stamp. The signature and inscription are bold and clear, and the baseball displays dirt stains and abrasions that speak to excellent evidence of game use. The item comes with a COA from Beckett Authentication (WG64041) for the signature and a LOA from MEARS (318050).
