Mets closer Billy Wagner wore this 1986 throwback jersey either on August 19 or 20, 2006. The Mets wore the 1986 throwbacks that weekend to honor the 20th anniversary of the Mets last World Series title. In both games Wagner pitched a perfect ninth inning, earning his 30th and 31st saves of the season.

     This white home jersey features blue pinstripes and a blue and orange band running down the sleeves and sides of the jersey. “Mets” is sewn across the front in blue-on-orange tackle twill. Wagner’s number “13” is sewn on the front and back in blue-on-orange tackle twill. “WAGNER” is sewn across the back shoulders in blue-on-orange tackle twill over a white nameplate. A Mets 1962-1986 25th Anniversary patch is sewn on the left sleeve above a Majestic logo. A Majestic tag with size “48” and “set 1 2006” flags is sewn on the bottom left area of this pullover jersey. This jersey shows moderate game use.
