Former New York Met Carlos Delgado wore New York Mets alternate home white jersey during Game 2 of the 2006 National League Division Series on October 5th at Shea Stadium in New York City against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Mets won the game 4-1 en route to a three-game sweep of Dodgers with Delgado going 1-4 on the day.
This Majestic button-down size 52 white jersey has “Mets” sewn on in blue, orange and black tackle twill script across the chest above the number “21” sewn on in the same color pattern. Blue piping runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons and an inch off the sleeve ends. “DELGADO” and his number “21” have been sewn on the back in blue, orange and black shadow tackle twill with the MLB logo patch sewn on above the blue piping on the back collar in blue, white and orange. The Mets city line team logo patch adorns the left sleeve above the blue embroidered Majestic logo. The Majestic manufacturer’s label is stitched on the inside of the front, lower left tail, along with two attached flags that read “54” and “ set 1 2006”. This jersey shows heavy game use with dirt stains across the front and this jersey comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (BB242995) which authenticates the use of this jersey by Delgado during Game 2 of the NLDS on October 5th.
