Behind both a very effective offense (ranked 2nd in the NFL in points for) and a stingy defense (3rd in points against) the 2006 Chicago Bears finished the regular season with a record of 13-3, tops in the NFC North. QB Rex Grossman threw for 3,193 yards and 23 touchdowns while RB Thomas Jones rushed for 1,210 and six TDs. Brian Urlacher starred on defense and led the team with 142 total tackles. In the postseason, the Bears got by the Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints to reach the Super Bowl, where they would lose to the Indianapolis Colts, 29-17.

Presented here is a Jostens 10K gold 2006 Chicago Bears NFC championship ring, featuring an array of diamonds on the face, including a uniquely designed raised row of stones as well as one diamond set in the middle of the team’s “C” logo in the center of the ring top.  One side of the ring depicts an image of Soldier Field, with the name “HYMER” above and the Super Bowl XLI logo below. The opposite side is centered by an image of the NFC Championship Trophy as well as the teams and final score (39-14) of the game, along with the year “2006”. The initials “GSH” – for George Stanley Halas – are shown at the bottom. A Jostens 10K mark, which shows partial wear, appears inside the band. This ring is an approximate size 12 and weighs approximately 42.5 grams. Included is the original wood presentation box, featuring a colorful inlaid Bears logo, and also proudly declaring “2006 NFC CHAMPIONS”. This ring comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (AH09012) for its authenticity.
