After five seasons with the San Diego Chargers, the team that drafted him, quarterback Drew Brees was traded to the New Orleans Saints where he made an immediately impact in 2006. Brees led the NFL in yards passing with 4,418 and passing yards per game at 276.1 as he and the Saints finished the 2006 season with a 10-6 record, winning the NFC South.

The Saints fleur de lis logo and Reebok patches are sewn on each sleeve. “BREES” is sewn on the back in gold and white tackle twill on a matching black nameplate above the number. The NFL Equipment shield patch is sewn on the base of the gold V-neck collar. Two white patches are sewn on the inside back collar with the first one that reads “06-46” and the second one “S”. A gold state of Louisiana patch with Saints and their fleur de lis logo is sewn on the upper left chest. Brees has signed his name in black marker on the middle of the “9” on the back and inscribed “GAME USED 2006 SEASON” on the top of the “9”. This jersey comes with a 100% Authentication LOA from the game use and a STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (E47200) for the signature.
