Hall of Famer Frank Robinson’s playing career saw him become the first player ever to win MVP awards in both the American and National Leagues. Robinson also made history as he became the first African-American manager in the Major Leagues when he became a player/manager for the Cleveland Indians. Robinson’s managerial career saw him manage the Indians, the San Francisco Giants, Baltimore Orioles and the Montreal Expos/Washington Nationals franchise.

     Robinson wore this home white button-down Washington Nationals jersey during his final managerial season of 2006. This Majestic size 48 jersey features “NATIONALS” sewn on across the chest in red, gold and navy blue tackle twill. Robinson’s number “20” is sewn on the front left chest in the same red, gold and navy blue pattern. The back of the jersey has “ROBINSON” sewn on in red and navy blue tackle twill, which is above his number “20” sewn on in red, gold and navy blue. The Majestic tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail with a “48” and “2006” flags attached. The collar and sleeves have a red/navy blue/red piping pattern with the left sleeve having a navy blue circular “DC” patch above the red embroidered Majestic logo. The MLB logo is embroidered on the upper back neck in navy blue, white and gold and Robinson signed his name in silver on the top bar of the “0” on the back of the jersey while inscribing “2006 Gamer” on the bottom bar of the “0”. This jersey shows light use and comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (B54296) for the signature and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
