Kobe Bryant wore these Nike Air Zoom Kobe Lasered Huarache 2K5 sneakers during the Lakers 119-93 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on January 6th, 2006 at STAPLES Center. These sneakers have been photo matched to that January 6th game by Sports Investors Authentication. Bryant led all scorers with 48 points, adding 10 assists and 10 rebounds for the triple-double in the Lakers narrow victory. Allen Iverson led the Sixers with 31 points, but it was not enough to overcome Kobe's dominant scoring performance.

2005-06 was the late Bryant’s best scoring season, with former Lower Merion High School star scoring at a 35.4 points per game clip, good enough to earn his first NBA scoring title. On January 22nd, 2006, Kobe played arguably his greatest game, scoring 81 points on 46 shots against Jalen Rose and the Toronto Raptors. Bryant’s final season came in 2015-16, and in his final game the 18-time All-Star went out with a breathtaking 60-point game in the Lakers 101-96 win over the Utah Jazz.

These Nike Air Zoom Lasered Huarache 2K5 sneakers were originally gifted by Kobe to a recipient in the Make-A-Wish Foundation, with a detailed letter of provenance explaining how these sneakers were acquired. These white with yellow and purple high-top sneakers have Bryant’s number “8” in yellow and purple on each tongue. Purple and yellow Nike swoosh logos are sewn on each side of the shoes. Kobe’s logo is applied to each heel in yellow lettering and Bryant has signed the outside foot of each shoe in black marker, adding his personalized inscription to the Make-A-Wish Foundation recipient “To Stephen God Bless” on the left sneaker and his number “8” on the right sneaker. These shoes come with a LOA from Sports Investors Authentication, who have photo matched these shoes to the January 6th game, plus a letter of provenance from Stephen Comett, who was gifted these sneakers by Kobe a week after the game versus the Sixers. Additionally, there are individual LOAs from PSA/DNA (AJ08053 – left shoe & AJ08054 – right shoe) that covers Bryant’s signatures.
