Presented is a black Lucite ring box with a white Miami Heat logo on the lid. The box is 3 ½ x 5 x 6 inch with a black foam rubber lining in the lid, and a black felt and ribbon “pull-out” holder in the base. The Miami Heat won the 2006 NBA Championship, their first title in the 18th year of the organization. The Heat won the title in six games over the Dallas Mavericks, becoming the third team (after the ’69 Celtics and the ’77 Trail Blazers) to win the crown after trailing 0-2 in the series. It was the first time since 1971 that the NBA Finals featured two teams playing in their first championship final. The Heat were led by Shaquille O’Neal, who finished the season as the NBA’s leader in field goal percentage, and Dwyane Wade, who was the NBA Finals MVP.
