After finishing second in Rookie of the Year voting in 2005, New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2006, finishing fourth in the American League with a .342 batting average. This offered two-tone Original Maple Bat Co. CANO 22NY model bat displays outstanding use with a secured handle crack and was used by Cano in 2006. The impression of a weighted batting donut is visible along with many ball marks with white leather ball scuffs and blue ink transfers. Green and red bat rack paint streaks are visible as are cleat imprints. A heavy coat of Mota Stick is on the upper handle and the lower handle and knob are taped in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip. The bat’s specs are hand-written on the barrel end in black pen. A complete Cano gamer with all the bells and whistles. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B08410) for the game use and has been graded a GU 9.
