During the 2006 SummerSlam Pay-Per-View event, one of the matches was an “I Quit” match between Cactus Jack (Mick Foley) and Ric Flair. In an intense match with many hardcore objects around the ring, Flair defeated Cactus Jack after repeatedly hitting him with this offered baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire. While unconscious during the match, Cactus Jack’s ally Melina came to the ring with other officials to check on him. The referees determined Foley could not continue and rang the bell. However, Flair said the match could not end until Foley quit and kept pounding on him with this barbed wire bat. Melina stepped in and laid between Foley and the oncoming bat. Just as Flair was about to deliver another blow, Foley quit the match to protect Melina. The bat itself is an Alex Rodriguez Louisville Slugger C271 model with the barbed wire wrapped around the barrel. This item comes directly from the WWE Corporation and an LOA from the WWE will accompany this item, authenticating its use during the 2006 SummerSlam event.
