Tom Glavine wore this Majestic size 44 Mets road jersey during a 7-3 win against the Florida Marlins on May 28, 2006. Glavine did not pitch that day, but wore this jersey in the dugout. Glavine had an excellent season in 2006, making his 10th All-Star team at the age of 40. He finished the year with 15 wins and a 3.82 ERA. Glavine retired after the 2008 MLB season, and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame five years later.

     This grey Mets road jersey features “NEW YORK” sewn across the front in blue-on-orange tackle twill with black drop shadow. Glavine’s number “47” is sewn on the front and back in blue-on-orange tackle twill with black drop shadow. “GLAVINE” is sewn across the back shoulders in blue-on-orange tackle twill with black drop shadow. A circular Mets skyline logo is sewn on the left sleeve. This jersey features blue piping down the front and around the collar and sleeve openings. Glavine signed the “4” on the back in silver Sharpie. He inscribed the “7” “2007 300th win season.” The jersey shows light signs of dugout use, including a small stain on the chest.
