After just 126 minor league games, Troy Tulowitzki was deemed Big League material by the Rockies. Tulowitzki made his debut on August 30, 2006 and hit .240 for the rest of the season. In spring training the following year he was named spring MVP and cemented his position as the Rockies starting shortstop. “Tulo” used this bat during his late season call-up in 2006. This Louisville Slugger P72 model bat is un-cracked and shows outstanding use. The barrel shows many ball marks and there is some checking from repeated ball contact. Tulowitzki’s rookie year number “14” is on the knob and barrel end in silver marker. This tough-to-find rookie year bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15171) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.5.
