The Seattle Seahawks lost Super Bowl XL to the Pittsburgh Steelers 21-10. Defensive tackle Chuck Darby of the Seahawks played in the game on defense and wore this exact helmet during this Super Bowl. The Riddell “LARGE” helmet has Darby’s number “91” on a sticker inside the helmet, along with the Seattle Seahawks Bar Code sticker. The various safety information is covered up by the thick padding. The blue helmet has the Seahawks logo on both side, and contains a bold, silver Sharpie “Chuck Darby #91 Game Used XL Super Bowl”. The outside of the helmet exhibits tremendous game use with multiple scratches, paint and some peeling away of the Seahawks emblems. The chin strap is fully intact, and the facemask has deep grooves from repeated contact. This helmet comes with a LOA from Chuck Darby.
