After a stellar nine-year career in Japan, Ichiro never missed a beat when he entered the Major Leagues in 2001. This offered Mizuno Pro Model bat dates to Ichiro’s fourth and fifth seasons of garnering the most hits in the American League, the sixth consecutive season of 200+ hits. In 2007 and 2008, to which this bat dates, Ichiro had 238 hits in 2007 and 2013 in 2008. This bat displays outstanding game use and has a crack on the handle that has been repaired. There are ball marks, stitch impressions, white leather scuffs, blue ink transfers and cleat imprints present on the barrel, along with an impression of a weighted donut. The upper handle has a heavy coating of pine tar and Ichiro’s number “51” is stamped into the knob. Ichiro has signed his name in silver marker on the barrel and inscribed “51”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B26225) for the game use and has been given a very high grade of GU 9.5, plus a STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (W64216) for the signatures. Additionally, there is a LOA from Beckett Authentication for the signature. Please note that this item was recently authenticated by Beckett Authentication.
