Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James wore this red Cavaliers road jersey during the 2007-08 NBA season, his fifth year in the NBA. James continued to progress into one of the top players in NBA history during his age-23 season, averaging a staggering 30.0 points per game with 7.9 rebounds and 7.2 assists per contest. James scoring average led the NBA and he was named to his fourth consecutive All-Star Game, earning MVP honors after scoring 27 points with nine assists and eight boards in the Eastern Conference’s 134-128 win at New Orleans Arena.

James led the Cavaliers to a 45-37 record and the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference, setting up a matchup between Cleveland and the Washington Wizards in the Eastern Conference First Round. The Cavs won this series in six perfunctory games, with LeBron leading both teams in scoring in all six contests. He averaged 29.8/9.5/7.7 per game with 1.3 steals and 1.3 blocks in a Herculean effort for Mike Brown’s men. While the Cavaliers lost in the second round of the playoffs, James’ 2007-08 season was one of the most spectacular single-season performances of the young century.

This offered Cavaliers road jersey has “CLEVELAND” and James’ number “23” sewn on the chest in white and gold tackle twill. “JAMES” and a second “23” are sewn on the back of the jersey in the same fashion. The side panels are gold, with a pair of white stripes running down either side of the gold panels. An NBA logo patch and a “C” patch are sewn on the chest, while a second “C” patch is sewn on the back outside collar. A Cavaliers Adidas tag with attached size “50”, “Climalite”. “2007-2008”, and “+2 Length” flags are sewn on the front left tail. A second Cavaliers tag is sewn on the front right tail. James has signed the “2” digit on the back of the jersey, adding numerous inscriptions made out to his teammate Daniel “Boobie” Gibson, the original recipient of the jersey and a member of the Cavaliers for seven seasons between 2007 and 2013. On the “2” digit, James inscribed “King James” with a sketch of a crown, and on the “3” digit wrote “’Roc Boys’”, “Keep up the *Great Work*”, “La Familia”, and “To: Lil Homie”. Please note that this jersey was previously mounted and two rows of miniscule holes run across the front and back tail of this jersey. The jersey comes with a LOA from Sports Investors Authentication (190621F15) and a LOA from Daniel Gibson for the game use. Additionally, there is a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A69979) for LeBron James' signature and a COA from Beckett Authentication Services (K78880) that authenticates Gibson’s signature on his LOA.
