After gaining fame as the ace of the Boston Red Sox, Pedro Martinez moved over to the New York Mets in 2005 and continued his Hall of Fame numbers. With opposing batters managing a dismal .200 average against him, Martinez won 32 games for the Mets.

While known for his dominant pitching Martinez did manage to collect seven hits during the labeling period of this Louisville Slugger C235 model bat that Martinez used during the 2007 and 2008 seasons. This bat displays outstanding use and is un-cracked. There are numerous ball marks and stitch impressions present on the barrel. There is a light coating of pine tar on the lower barrel by the trademark and on the lower handle. Martinez’s number “45” is hand written in black marker on the knob and in silver marker inside the cupped barrel. Martinez signed his name in silver marker on the barrel and this bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14892) and has been graded a solid GU 8 and a LOA from JSA (Z64056) for his signature.
