An All-Star during his first four seasons with the Angels, Vladimir Guerrero won the Home Run Derby in 2007. One of his shots traveled a Ruthian 503 feet and his prodigious hitting continued for the rest of the summer helping the Angels claim the American League West pennant. The next summer he hit an identical 27 home runs for the Angels and led the AL in intentional walks. Guerrero’s 2007-08 Route 66 RT-147 model bat is un-cracked and displays outstanding use. The barrel shows several ball marks with white leather ball scuffs and ink transfers and cleat impressions. The handle has a moderate coat of pine tar and the knob end has Vladdy’s number “27” in black marker. The Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in contrasting silver marker to complete this impressive gamer. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B17163) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10 and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for the signatures.
