Alex Rodriguez wore this Rawlings PRORV23 model glove during the 2007 season, his fourth with the New York Yankees. The slugging third baseman had an incredible season, clubbing 54 home runs with 156 RBI, 24 stolen bases, and a .314 batting average. Rodriguez won his third American League MVP award for his excellent performance that season. Additionally, Rodriguez was selected to his 11th All-Star team in 2007, while also becoming the youngest player in MLB history to reach the 500-home run mark.

This glove has been photo matched to 56 games by Resolution Photomatching, which also includes the 2007 All-Star Game played on July 10th at AT&T Park in San Francisco, the August 4th game where Rodriguez hit his 500th career home run and the October 8th American League Division Series game against the Cleveland Indians. This glove shows outstanding game use with fraying threads, stitching imperfections on the logo on the back of the glove, marks and stains on the thumb, stains on the patch on the back of the glove and fading of the lettering on the inside of the glove – all used to make conclusive photo matches for the 56 games. The body is made of black leather, while the top of the glove is a black mesh fabric. A red Rawlings logo is present on the wristband and near the thumb. Rodriguez signed the index finger slot in silver marker. On the ring finger slot he inscribed “2007 Game Used” and “500 HR Season”. This item comes with a LOA from Alex Rodriguez and a LOA from Resolution Photomatching (426090).
