CC Sabathia is a six-time All-Star, winning the Cy Young Award with Cleveland in 2007 before eventually signing as a free agent with the New York Yankees in 2009, and helping lead them to a World Series title that year. This signed white, button-down game used home 2007 Cleveland Indians jersey was worn by CC Sabathia on Jackie Robinson Day that, a game the southpaw started and went eight innings, striking out 10 batters in a 2-1 win over the Chicago White Sox. Sabathia’s signature appears on the back of the jersey in bold, black Sharpie on the “4” of his number “42,” which is stitched in red-and-silver on navy blue tackle twill. “Indians” is scripted across the chest, also in red-and-silver on navy blue tackle twill. The front tail of the jersey features an “MLB Authentic Collection” patch with an affixed tag that reads “56” for the jersey’s size. An Indians patch and Majestic logo appear stitched on the left sleeve and the official MLB logo appears on the back collar of the jersey. The jersey exhibits evidence of light game use and appears to be all original. The jersey comes with MLB Authentication number BB495568.
