In a town of sports legends, no one in recent memory is bigger than David Ortiz. For 14 seasons, Big Papi electrified Fenway Park, bringing three World Championships to the city while winning seven Silver Slugger Awards. His 54 home runs in 2006 broke the club’s single-season record.

Ortiz turned in another solid season in ’07, hitting a career-high .332, clubbing 37 home runs with 117 RBIs, helping Boston win their second World Championship in three seasons. In the Postseason Ortiz was unstoppable, hitting a colossal .714 with 2 home runs against the Angels in the ALDS and .292 with another homer against the Indians in the ALCS. In the World Series, Big Papi hit the Rockies pitching at a .333 clip as the Sox won their seventh World Series title. Ortiz’s 2007 Rawlings 456B model bat is un-cracked and shows outstanding use. The barrel features many ball marks with stitch impressions along with white leather ball scuffs. Ortiz’s number “34” is handwritten on the knob in black marker and he has signed the barrel in contrasting silver marker. A complete gamer from the heart of Big Papi’s Hall of Fame career. The bat comes with LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15876) for the game use and has been graded a perfect a GU 10, plus a Steiner Sports hologram for the signature.
