2007 was the breakout season for New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning. After starting the season at 0-2, the Giants rebounded to make the playoffs and Manning led the Giants past the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the top-seeded Dallas Cowboys and then the Green Bay Packers, all on the road, and earned a trip to Super Bowl XLII to face the undefeated New England Patriots. The Giants, heavy underdogs against the undefeated Patriots, scored 14 points in the fourth quarter, highlighted by one of the most memorable plays in Super Bowl history when Manning eluded three would-be tacklers and heaved a long pass to David Tyree, who held on to the ball with his helmet as he was being taken down. That play set up the winning touchdown pass from Manning to Plaxico Burress, ending the Patriots dream of a historic undefeated season.

This jersey matches all of the size and specifications of an Eli Manning gamer, but there is no game use apparent. Manning’s number “10” is sewn on in white tackle twill on the front, back and shoulders and “MANNING” is sewn on in white tackle twill on a matching rounded blue name plate on the back. The v-neck collar has a red base with the NFL EQUIPMENT patch sewn on. Each sleeve has the Reebok logo patch sewn on and the “C” patch with four stars (one yellow on the far left) is sewn on the upper right chest. “NY” is embroidered in white above the numbers on the front of the jersey and the Reebok tag with “2” L.B.” and “50” flags are sewn on the bottom front left tail. On the inside upper back is a white patch that reads “07-50”. This jersey comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
