There’s no greater rivalry in football than New York’s Jets and Giants. The two teams have a rabid following and each of their regular season meetings every four years in their shared home in the Meadowlands is another chapter in their on-going “Battle of New York.” On October 7, 2007 the two teams clashed, and with 3 minutes left on the clock, Giants rookie Aaron Ross intercepted a Chad Pennington pass and ran 43 yards to cement a Giants win. Giants quarterback Eli Manning threw two touchdowns and 186 yards that afternoon to shoot down the Jets 35-24.

This offered home uniform set (jersey and pants) was worn by Eli Manning during the October 7, 2007 game. The royal blue jersey has Manning’s number “10” in white tackle twill on the chest and on both shoulders. An “NY” logo is embroidered just below the “V” neck opening and Manning’s captain patch is sewn on the right chest. An NFL logo patch is sewn on a red piece sewn in the “V” neck opening. The collar has a white strip tag with “07-50” embroidered in black. The Giants great has signed the “10” in black marker adding “worn vs Jets 10/7/07.” The back of the jersey has “MANNING in white tackle twill on a blue name plate above his white number “10.”

The matching silver-grey pants have red and blue striping down each leg with a Reebok patch on the right thigh and an NFL patch on the left. The pants have an integral belt of matching silver-grey material and a Reebok label is sewn inside the waist. A size “36” hang tag is affixed and a white strip tag with “07” is sewn in the waistband. Manning’s number “10” has been handwritten in black marker. The quarterback has signed the front left thigh in black marker adding “Game Worn 2007.” The jersey sows good game use with some surface scuffing and light staining. The pants show good game use with some light staining particularly around the knees. A complete uniform set attributed to a game between New York’s two football rivals and worn by the Giants’ legendary QB. This uniform set comes with a LOA from MEARS (313200) for the game use and a COA from Steiner for the signature.
