Jim Leyland managed the American League All-Star team for the 2007 edition of the Mid-Summers Classic, held at AT&T Park, the home of the San Francisco Giants. The American League won this game 5-4, extending their unbeaten streak against the National League to 11 games.
This orange, one button pullover batting practice jersey has the American League logo applied to the chest of the jersey. “LEYLAND” is sewn across the back shoulders in black tackle twill. His number “10” is sewn on the back in black and cream tackle twill. A black and orange MLB logo is sewn on the back outside collar. A Tigers logo is sewn on the right sleeve, while a 2007 All-Star Game patch is sewn on the left above a black Majestic logo. This jersey features black and cream accents, and the side of the jersey is crafted from cream and black mesh. A Majestic 2007 All-Star Game tag has been applied to the front left tail of the jersey. Majestic Cool Base and size “44” flags are attached to the left side. Leyland signed the “1” in silver marker, adding the inscription “All Star 2007 BP Jersey” on the “0”. This jersey comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C03600) for the signature and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for game use.
