Pittsburgh Pirates third baseman and outfielder Jose Bautista wore this sleeveless red vest during the 2007 season. Although he was still a few seasons away from leading the American League in home runs (twice), Bautista had a solid season for the Pirates, hitting 15 home runs with 63 RBI and 36 doubles. Bautista, who would join the Blue Jays during the 2008 season, was one of eight Pirates players to hit double digit home runs in ’07.

This red, button down vest has “Pirates” sewn across the chest in black and yellow tackle twill. Bautista’s number “19” is sewn on the left chest and the center of the back of the vest in black and yellow tackle twill. “BAUTISTA” is sewn across the back shoulders in black and yellow tackle twill over a red nameplate. A MLB logo is sewn on the outside back collar. A yellow and black band rings the sleeve openings. A Majestic tag with an attached size “48” flag is sewn on the inside of the front left tail. This jersey was only worn once per week during the 2007 season, hence its light appearance of wear. This vest comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
