2015 American League MVP Josh Donaldson began his career in the Chicago Cubs organization. In 2007, three years before he would make his Major League debut with the Oakland A’s, Donaldson played for the Boise Hawks, the Cubs affiliate of the Northwest League and the Arizona Cubs of the Arizona Fall League. Donaldson batted a combined .335 for the two clubs and used this all-black Louisville Slugger S318 model bat. This bat displays moderate game use and has a crack in the barrel. The outer knob has been covered in tape and there is a light coating of Mota Stick on the upper handle. Donaldson signed his name on the barrel in silver marker, making this is a great early gamer from an American League MVP. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13114) for the game use and a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for the signature.
