Presented here is an Adidas “nbafusion” Seattle SuperSonics jersey worn by Kevin Durant during the 2007 NBA Summer League. Durant, who was drafted second overall by the Seattle SuperSonics in the 2007 NBA Draft, played in the summer league before his rookie season. The reversible mesh jersey features “SONICS BASKETBALL” and the NBA “Logoman” screen-printed across the chest of the black side of the jersey. The Adidas logo rests just below the front collar. An Adidas “nbafusion” manufacturer’s tag rests on the front left tail of the jersey. Three white stripes run the length of the lateral sides. The white side of the jersey features three black stripes on the lateral sides and the Adidas logo in green just below the front collar. The Seattle SuperSonics logo and the number “35” appear screen-printed across the chest. The back of the white side features the number “35” and “DURANT” screen-printed in green on the back. Durant signed the number “5” on the back of the white side of the mesh reversible jersey with a silver metallic paint pen. The signature is bold, and the jersey displays puckering of the Adidas manufacturer’s tag and fraying of the mesh around the collar.
