Affectionately known as “The Greek God of Walks” Kevin Youkilis was a pretty good hitter as well. During the 2007 season, which he helped the Boston Red Sox in winning their second World Series in three years, batted .288 with 16 home runs and 83 RBI – oh and he also worked 77 walks. This offered Louisville Slugger T141 model bat was used by Youkilis during the championship 2007 season. This bat displays heavy game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, stitch impressions, blue ink transfers and cleat imprints present on the barrel. There is a light coating of pine tar on the upper handle/lower barrel and Youkilis’ number “20” is hand written in silver marker on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15266) for the game use. Please note that the consignor did not want to purchase the grading on this bat. However, we can inform all potential bidders that this bat has been pre-certified as a GU 10 by PSA/DNA and if the winning bidder chooses to have this bat graded, it will be guaranteed to receive a GU 10 grade.
