Presented here are a pair of game used size 14 Nike Zoom Kobe II game worn sneakers worn by Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant during the 2007-08 season and signed by the five-time NBA champion. Bryant won his first and only NBA MVP award that year, averaging 28.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 1.8 steals in 38.9 minutes per game. Under Bryant's veteran leadership, the Lakers won 57 games and the Pacific Division title during the 2007-08 season, blowing by the Denver Nuggets, Utah Jazz, and San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference Playoffs. Although the Lakers would go on to win the 2008-09 and 2009-10 NBA titles, they were unable to unseat the Boston Celtics in a hard-fought, six-game NBA Finals in June of 2008. Bryant played until 2016, ending his career with a gutsy 60-point performance, as well as 18 All-Star appearances, five NBA titles, and two Finals MVP awards.

The presented sneakers feature a purple, gold, and white colorway and feature the iconic Nike "Swoosh" logo in gold on the instep and outstep of each sneaker. "KOBE" and the number "2" are imprinted on the strap across the tongue in plastic next to a Nike "Swoosh" logo in gold. "ZOOM" and the Kobe "SHEATH" logo are located on the back heel of each sneaker in purple and gold plastic. The number "2" and the number "4" appear on the right and left soles, respectively, along with a purple Nike "Swoosh" logo on the purple and gold rubber soles. Bryant signed and inscribed his name with a black marker across the white toe box of each sneaker. The signatures are bold and clear. The sneakers display moderate evidence of game use and contain faint white stains on the strap across the ankle, abrasions on the Nike "Swoosh" logos, and light wear on the toe guard. The size tag labeled "SEASON SU07" indicates that these sneakers were manufactured during the summer of 2007 and proves that Bryant wore these sneakers during his MVP 2007-2008 season.
