Kobe Bryant donned this special jersey on March 3rd 2009 as the Los Angeles Lakers took on visiting Memphis Grizzlies. Kobe Bryant scored 31 points to break the Lakers two-game skid beating the Grizzlies 99-89. This night was significant in that it was “Noche Latina” – Latin Night – at the Staples Center and the team was temporarily re-branded as “Los Lakers”. Special uniforms with the Spanish moniker were created just for the game, and this one offered here was worn by the game’s high scorer, Kobe Bryant.
This white home jersey has “Los Lakers” and Kobe’s number “24” in purple and gold tackle twill on the front. Bryant has signed the jersey below his number in black marker. A special “NOCHE LATINA” patch is sewn on the right shoulder. A “NOCHE LATINA LATIN NIGHTS” label is sewn in the lower left front tail above an Adidas label with “54”, “CLIMALITE”, Length +4” and “2008-2009” hangtags. Gold and purple striping runs down both inseam and the collar is trimmed in purple. The back has “BRYANT” and his number “24” in purple and gold tackle twill. The jersey shows good game use with several small stains, most noticeably on the front to the right of the “4” and to the lower left of the “2.” A rarely seen jersey style pinpointed to one night in the Hall of Fame-bound career of Kobe Bryant. The jersey comes with an LOA from DC Sports for the game use and Upper Deck (SH052719) for the signature.
