Already surpassing the 500-home run mark, Alex Rodriguez continued to add to his lofty home run totals in his pursuit of 600 home runs. During the August 31st, 2008 game against the late Roy Halladay and the Toronto Blue Jays, Rodriguez connected for his 547th career home run using this Louisville Slugger C271L model bat. Rodriguez’s solo home run came in the bottom of the fourth inning.

This bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, stitch impressions and checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact present on the barrel. There is also an impression of a weighted donut, along with cleat marks. There is a moderate coating of Mota Stick on the handle. Rodriguez has signed his name in silver marker on the barrel and inscribed “game used 8/31/08 Career HR # 547 vs. Halladay At Yankee Stadium”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B01243) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9, plus a STICKER ONLY from JSA (D85241) for his signature.
