New York Mets infielder David Wright has been the face of the franchise for the last decade. Despite recent injuries, the all-star third baseman is a beloved figure. Offered in this lot is the home plate from Shea Stadium that was in play during Wright’s career home runs 125 through 128. This plate was used from September 5th through September 14th, 2008.  The plate shows extensive use with toning on the face and numerous cleat marks, dirt stains and abrasions. Wright signed this plate in blue marker on the top of the plate and inscribed “HR #125-128” and “9/5/08 – 9/14/08”. This plate comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH 155086) authenticating the game use of this item and used during the “Home stand ending 9/14/08”. There is also a LOA from JSA (Z49831) for his signature.
