Evan Longoria burst onto the Big League scene in 2008, leading the Rays to their first ever American League pennant. The third baseman hit 27 home runs, drove in 85 runs and hit a solid .272 in his debut season, earning him the Rookie of the Year Award. Longoria’s rookie season Louisville Slugger L180 model bat shows good game use. The barrel shows many ball marks and abrasions while the handle has a heavy coat of pine tar with the knob taped to enhance the grip. Longoria’s number “3” is on the knob and the Rays slugger has signed the barrel in blue marker with “GAME USED 2008 ROOKIE SEASON.” This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18218) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10 and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for the signature.
