Cincinnati Reds standout Joey Votto made his Major League debut in 2007, appearing in 24 games and garnering 89 plate appearances. In typical Votto fashion, he batted .321 while hitting four home runs and driving in 17 – displaying the talent that would see him win the National League MVP in 2010. During his official rookie season of 2008, Votto hit 24 home runs, with 84 RBI and a .287 average, finishing second in the Rookie of the Year voting to Geovany Soto of the Chicago Cubs.
This offered Marucci JV19 model bat was used by Votto during his rookie season of 2008. This bat displays light use and is un-cracked. There are some ball marks, stitch impressions and checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact that is present on the barrel. The manufacture date “3/31/08” is stamped on the knob, along with Votto’s number “19”, which is stamped in white. Votto signed his name in silver marker on the barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15211) for the game use and a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH129630) for his signature.
