Ryan Ludwick began the second phase of his career in 2007 when he successfully reemerged from minor league obscurity to a starting role with the Cardinals. He made the All-Star team the following season and ended 2008 with a .299 average along with 37 home runs, 40 doubles, 113 RBIs and 3 triples plus a Silver Slugger Award. This Rawlings M433B model bat is un-cracked and shows excellent use. There are several ball marks and abrasions on the barrel and the lower handle has been taped to enhance the grip. Ludwick’s number “47” is hand written on the knob and barrel end in silver and he has signed the barrel in silver pen, adding his number “47.” The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16192) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9, plus a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for the signature.
