Albert Pujols continues to carve out his legacy in what is sure to be a Hall of Fame career when his days on the diamond are all said and done. Before joining the Los Angeles Angels, Pujols made his name as a member of the St. Louis Cardinals, a franchise where he earned three National League MVPs awards and two World Series titles.

Offered is this signed, game-used white size 52 Majestic Cardinals button-down home jersey that was worn by the slugger from his 2009 MVP year. His signature appears in bold, black Sharpie on the back of the jersey between “PUJOLS” and his number “5,” both of which appear in red-on-navy blue tackle twill. The front of the jersey features the traditional “Cardinals” in cursive script in red chenille, with two redbirds perched atop a baseball bat. Pujols’ number “5” sits below the logo in red-on-navy blue tackle twill. The left sleeve of the jersey features a commemorative “MLB All-Star Game” patch for St. Louis, the host city of the event in 2009. The Majestic tag, along with the “2009” and “52” flags, is sewn on the bottom front left tail. The signed jersey shows light evidence of game use and comes with an LOA from JSA (B94442) for the signatures and a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
