Batting helmet worn by A-Rod during the season he became 10th on the all-time list of home run hitters. Thanks in part to
A-Rod’s solid season, the Yankees surged into the post season, in which this helmet was also worn. Through the playoff and World Series he went on a tear earning him the Babe Ruth MVP Award. New York Yankees Rawlings batting helmet show extraordinary game use with scuffs, pine tar and dirt marks picked up along the way from the regular season thru the World Series. Brim of the helmet has A-Rod’s number “13” in white. Inside the helmet has the Rawlings labeling and size “7 1/4”. Numbered MLB, PSA/DNA and Alex Rodriguez hologram stickers are affixed to the underside of the brim. The padding shows heavy game use.
